Bridestowe Lavender Farm Express (December - March/April)      
There is a one hour drive there and back to Bridestowe Lavender Farm at Nabowla, north eastern Tasmania. The drive is through forests and farmland and is very pretty. We will stay at the Lavender Farm for one and a half hours so you may walk around the Lavender to soak in the perfume and the views, have a tour of the distillery if operating, visit the Lavender shop for all things Lavender and purple and even have a snack at the café if you wish.

Bridestowe Lavender & Berry Farms (December - March/April)
We will drive out to Hillwood to visit the Berry Farm where picking your own fruit such as strawberries and tasting is the scrumptious thing to do. If we can tear you away we will drive on to Nabowla to the Bridestowe Lavender Farm for everything lavender and spectacular scenery which is not to be missed!

Caves & Trowunna Wildlife Park at Mole Creek
From Launceston, drive to Mole Creek to explore the beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites in either King Solomons Cave (easy) or Maracoopa Cave, where you will see the spectacular glow worm display (medium fitness for stairs). Visit Trowunna Wildlife Park to meet some of Australia’s amazing wildlife including the famous Tasmanian Devil. Taste scrumptious honeys at the Honey Farm on the way back (not open Saturdays).

Evandale Remembrances
From Launceston we will drive to beautiful Evandale, a tiny colonial town 15kms out of Launceston.  Explore Evandale before visiting Clarendon Homestead which is a National Trust home. Reported to be the finest colonial home in Australia. On the way back we will pass through beautiful rolling hills and farmland and call in to visit Joseph Cromy vineyards (optional extra).

Historical Tour of Woolmers Estate and Brickendon
From Launceston make our way through the tiny Georgian town of Longford to visit the pioneer family homes of the Archer’s being Brickendon Farm and Woolmers, both now world heritage properties. The National Rose Garden (4 acres of beautiful roses, best time is from September) is part of Woolmers and is very spectacular. Bring your camera!

Tour of West Tamar River
Drive through Tamar Valley to Grindelwald, a tiny Swiss Village replica.  May include a wine tasting on the way at guest’s request at one of the many vineyards in the area. Continue on to Beaconsfield to visit the fantastic Gold Mine Museum or go to Beauty Point near the mouth of the river, to visit either Platypus House or Seahorse World. Call in at Brady’s Lookout on the way back to take photos of the river.
